Small, star-shaped, white flowers cover completely in spring. Irish Moss is ideal as a creeping perennial groundcover , terrific between rocks and stones . This plant is an excellent choice for woodland areas, along streams, on small slopes or between pavers in a fairy garden or as a lawn substitute.
