Stonecrop John Creech DROUGHT-WISE Sedum John Creech is one of our best of the best and that's why it's given the honor of being in the Tough Ten Program. John Creech Stonecrop is an excellent creeping sedum that forms a tight mat as it spreads. Bright green stems root at every fleshy leaf node, turning burgundy in the fall. Sedunm John Creech grows much closer together than other Sedum spuriums, making it a delight to have in pathways, patios and rock gardens.

Gardening Tips from Fran
Sedum spurium John Creechis another one of our Tough Ten plants. It is my "go-to" plant to recommend when someone can't seem to be successful with plants. It's durable, pretty, and seems to grow not matter what the situation demands from it. John Creech Stonecrop is a low growing sedum, so it does well around stepping stones or as a bark replacement. The runners do not get long and leggy like other Sedum spuriums, making it a great addition to rock gardens, fairy gardens or along a border. Cut off the spent blooms to keep clear for foot traffic.
**Many of our plants are listed as Not a Good Fit forKid Traffic/Dog Traffic/Around Pools. These plants will work fine around these spots. However, please keep in mind thatmany people (and animals) have allergies to bees or fragrances. While the plants may work perfectly in the area that you have determined, blooms may need to be sacrificed, or a different plant may need to be determined in order for the area to be used free of concern.
