Sedum Purple Form is truly a delight to have in the garden. What color! This Blue Carpet Stonecrop has tight blue-gray foliage that changes to deep blue and then lovely hues of purple when cold. In late summer, Sedum hispanicum Purple Form becomes completely covered with small pink star-shaped flowers that twinkle for weeks in your garden. This STEPABLE is excellent where drought conditions prevail. Try this plant on a dry path or around stones to show off its unique color. Sharp drainage is a must. Over watering will impair growth.

Gardening Tips from Fran
Sedum hispanicum Purple Form Stonecrop is a very cool plant to have in your garden. The color is just amazing, fantastic, stunning, spectacular...Yep, I like this one :) Blue Carpet Stonecrop is sensational hanging over rocks, boulders, or a container's edge. Purple Form should always be placed somewhere prominent to show off it's fantastic color! It needs to be in great draining soil and in an open, airy spot. Too much water and too little air movement will create a haven for disease.
**Many of our plants are listed as Not a Good Fit forKid Traffic/Dog Traffic/Around Pools. These plants will work fine around these spots. However, please keep in mind thatmany people (and animals) have allergies to bees or fragrances. While the plants may work perfectly in the area that you have determined, blooms may need to be sacrificed, or a different plant may need to be determined in order for the area to be used free of concern.
