Moss Campion DROUGHT-WISE Silene acaulis is an extremely tight STEPABLES Creeping Perennial that fills in nooks and crannies perfectly. Place Moss Campion in gritty conditions, ignore it and watch it grow. This little Silene has hot pink flowers that fade to light pink in summer and are a welcome surprise. Moss Campion is great for dry walkways, rock gardens or retaining walls. This plant needs sharp drainage to succeed. Over watering will impair growth.

Gardening Tips from Fran
Silene acaulis is an excellent choice for rock gardens and outer edge borders. It performs best in gritty places where drainage is excellent. It moguls into unique shapes if given boundaries and is a really neat "touch me" plant. Moss Campion is a superior fairy garden plant to use for adorable, little rolling hills!
