Stachys densiflora 'Alba' Alba Stachys DROUGHT-WISE Deep green serrated leaves cover the ground completely. Foliage feels good to the touch. Nice display in borders and excellent draping over rocks to create a dramatic effect. 4” flower spikes are white and bloom in summer. You can shear them off or leave alone as they are also quite interesting to look at after bloom cycle.

Tips from Fran
Stachys densiflora is about as good a plant as you can find. The foliage has super cool jagged edges giving it a neat texture on the ground. It hugs tight to the ground until it blooms. Then these brilliant white spikes come out to completely engulf the foliage. They stay around for weeks and then drop off to leave an odd little stem until cut back. I have this around huge boulders and in containers and around stone. Very cool plant that is hard to kill.
