Tight mat forming green foliage make a great carpet anywhere. Light blue, small spikes arise in early summer to make a great show. Use around roses, shrubs or spilling over rocks. Mow flower spikes down after bloom to keep appearance neat.

Tips from Fran
Veronica allonii is awesome! I love this plant-and blue is my favorite color- so go figure! The mat is close to the ground but becomes engulfed with little blue spikes that look like blue candles. Not especially perfect for a pathway, but an amazing specimen for a border.

While this plant can withstand long periods of minimal water, it has not been tested for extended period of drought conditions.
